Kildonan was a provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba. The boundaries for the riding maintained their location through the 2008 redistribution. The riding's population was just over 75,000 as of the 2006 census, and it was made up of primarily urban residents. 45% of the population identified as being of Ukrainian descent, and other sizable immigrant groups included Dutch, East Indian, and Filipino. The riding was considered to be a safe seat for the New Democratic Party, which held the seat from its creation in 1966 until it was dissolved in 2008. In the 2012 provincial election, the NDP regained the seat with nearly 60% of the vote. Kildonan was represented by some notable politicians over the years, including current Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister.
